Purchasing An NFT on Opensea Pt. 2. (through Polygon)
(the easy part..)
We’re gonna use the popular market Opensea to purchase an NFT today. Opensea runs on the Ethereum chain. I don’t have a lot of time to explain more, cause i gotta go to work but if you have follow up questions than that just watch this video.
Learned a few things, did we? Can we finally move forward. Yes? Ok! Let’s Goooooooooooo…. Speed round.
1. Open a new tab and type in Opensea.io. Click on the wallet icon at the top right corner of the screen.
2. Click on the Wallet
3. Click on the ‘Metamask’
4. Click ‘Next’
5. Click ‘Connect’
6. Now that your wallet is connected, and your funds are showing up. Let’s get dat NFT.
7. If you already know what NFT you wanna purchase (*cough cough perhaps one from the new Polo Lewis x Cereal Bawx collabo… *cough cough) you’re gonna wanna start by looking it up at the search bar up top.
That said… for the purposes of this article, I found this supa cheap NFT on Opensea, looks like some armour for a game, 0.0004WETH??? As my dad AJ would say at the sight of a good deal…. I’LLLL TAKE IT! Click “Buy Now”
8. Click “Confirm Checkout”. 0.0004 WETH ($2.06)
9. Sign the message
10. Click on “Sign”.
11. CHAKAH KHAN! We purchased it. Only a few more steps cause I gotta show you where you can find your NFT. Lets click the little ‘x’.
12. At the top right corner next to the wallet icon, hover over where it has your wallet icon and click on “Profile”
13. There it is. Article done. Thank you & Goodnight.
